About Cutesy Names
Cutesy Names was started for 2 reasons: because a mother couldn't find a unique name sign for her
daughter's bedroom door and because of her desperate desire to get out of the office and go into
business for herself doing something FUN!!
About 3 years ago, we had just finished completely renovating the second floor of our home. After
having spent the first 10 months of her life living in the dining room as a result of the renovations, I
was ecstatic for my daughter to finally have her own room and wanted her name proudly displayed on
her own door. To my dismay I could not find many places where I could order a unique and special sign
with her name so I made one myself. Later on, I made a sign for my friend's baby shower and everyone
at the party wanted to know where I had ordered from and thought it was such a great gift. It was
then I decided to go into business to share my name signs with everyone.
Since I have gone into business I have made signs for people all over the country and for friends and
family alike. I take great pride and pleasure in putting the designs together to make a special keepsake
for a special child. I hand paint and assemble each sign which makes them all a little different and
unique - a truly custom, not manufactured, look.
